To research, develop and manage supplemental funding opportunities that support students' academic achievement and educational equity, and support school leaders, teachers and staff with programs and resources.

What We Do

The Grants Department is a full-service partner for APS personnel in the development and management of grants. The Grants Department will help guide APS schools, departments and/or divisions through the grant application process and provide management support, in conjunction with the appropriate APS division, department and/or school, to the completion of the grant cycle.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all aspects of competitive grant development and implementation in the Aurora Public Schools

  • Development and oversight of budgets for awarded grants

  • Monitoring the implementation and management of grants

  • Ensuring compliance of federal and state laws and regulations for grants

  • Providing guidance and technical assistance during all phases of grant development and implementation
